Affiliation

BCNEJ is affiliated with the Institute of Environmental Science and Technology (ICTA) at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, one of the leading European centers in environmental studies, distinguished by an international focus, a multidisciplinary approach, and an outstanding research quality. It is also affiliated with the Institut Hospital del Mar d’Investigaciones Mèdiques (IMIM) located in the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB).

Team

The lab is directed by Dr. Isabelle Anguelovski, Senior Researcher and PI at the Institute for Environmental Science and Technology (ICTA) within the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and Group Leader at IMIM. At ICTA, she directs the research line “Cities and Environmental Justice” and at IMIM the Research Group “Healthy Cities and Environmental Justice” (from June, 1, 2016).  The lab currently hosts four PhD students, six Masters’ students, and one postdoctoral fellow. In September 2016, it will welcome one new Master’s student, four PhD students, two Postdoctoral Fellows, and a Research Scientist.
